Apple Unveils iPhone 16e – A New Affordable iPhone with A18 Chip and Apple Intelligence
Apple has officially launched the iPhone 16e, the newest member of the iPhone 16 family. It replaces the iPhone SE series but with a new name and design to match the modern lineup.
Familiar Look, Powerful UpgradesDespite the similar look to the iPhone 14, the iPhone 16e has some notable improvements. It has Apple's A18 chip, which boosts its power and performance. Additionally, it fully supports Apple Intelligence, a feature of iOS 18 that uses artificial intelligence.
A Single but Powerful CameraThe iPhone 16e has a single 48MP camera with 2x zoom, unlike other iPhones with twin cameras. The "2-in-1 camera system" that Apple refers to is essentially a single camera that can take crisp, close-up shots without sacrificing quality.
Display & Battery LifeThe phone has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with Ceramic Shield for extra durability. Apple also claims it has the best battery life ever on a 6.1-inch iPhone, lasting six hours longer than the iPhone 11 and up to 12 hours longer than previous iPhone SE models.
