Vivo V50 – Price & Features in Hong Kong
With only minor improvements over its predecessor Vivo V40 and the same functionality, Vivo V50 has been released. With its 6,000 mAh battery and 90W fast charging, the smartphone offers long battery life and fast recharges. Its 6.77-inch OLED quad-curved display, protected by diamond-shielded glass for extra durability, has FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits.
Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the Vivo V50 comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, though it lacks a microSD expansion slot. Three 50MP sensors make up the camera system: a 50MP front camera for close-up selfies, an ultra-wide lens with autofocus, and a primary camera with OIS. The V50, which runs Funtouch OS 15 (Android 15), is expected to receive four years of security fixes and three Android updates. In addition, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor and has an IP68/69 rating for protection against water and dust.
The Vivo V50 is priced at HKD 3,143 for 8GB/128GB and HKD 3,666 for 12GB/512GB, and comes in Rose Red, Starry Night, and Titanium Grey-In Hong Kong. Vivo's official stores and partner merchants will start open sales on February 25.
