On October 29, 2024, Xiaomi held a major launch event in Beijing, China, unveiling a wide range of new products, including the Xiaomi 15 series smartphone, the Xiaomi SU7 ultra-electric car, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro, Xiaomi Watch S4, Xiaomi Mesh System BE3600 Pro Wi-Fi system, Xiaomi Smart Door Lock M30 Series, Mijia Air Conditioner Top-Outlet Pro, Mijia Multi-zone Refrigerator, Mijia Dual-drum Dual Washer Dryer, Xiaomi 165W PowerBank 10000, and HyperOS 2.0 Xiaomi's latest operating system.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro was launched on October 29, 2024, in China and is priced starting around PLN 2,693 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage model, with a higher-end model priced at PLN 3,303 for 16GB RAM and 1TB storage in Poland. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chip in the Xiaomi 15 Pro offers significant performance improvements over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro has a larger 6100 mAh battery, up from 4880 mAh in the Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 15 Pro includes an upgraded camera system with a new 50MP telephoto camera featuring 5x optical zoom, compared to the 3.2x zoom on the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Additionally, The Xiaomi 15 Pro is equipped with Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0, which is claimed to be 10x stronger than the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus used in the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
