The Galaxy A06 5G, Samsung's first 5G-capable smartphone in the A0 series, offers great features at an affordable price, with the base model priced at JPY 17,760 and the advanced variant costing JPY 22,200. Galaxy A06 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, runs on Android 15 with One UI 7, and stands out by promising 4 major OS updates and security patches until 2030, 6.7-inch PLS LCD has a 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals, and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor—a first for the A06 series.
For photography, the Galaxy A06 5G sports a 50MP main camera (f/1.8, AF) capable of 1080p video recording, along with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. The front 8MP selfie camera is housed in a notch. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging and includes IP54-rated dust and splash resistance. A USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone socket, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and microSD expansion for storage are additional features. The Galaxy A06 5G is coming out with three different versions: 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB. It comes in Black, Gray, and Light Green.
